Yoga Nidra is a powerful technique in which you learn to relax consciously. For the deepest relaxation, you remain aware and alert, in a state of dynamic sleep. This can be a challenge, but even if you do fall asleep, you still benefit. You will be guided through a systematic series of physical, mental and emotional relaxation during the hour practice. You may appear to be asleep, but the consciousness is functioning at a deeper level of awareness. Yoga Nidra can help us to develop better memory, increase knowledge and creativity and to transform our nature. It's a lovely practice!
Please feel free to bring your own blanket and pillow(s) (an eye pillow too) - whatever you need to be very comfortable for an hour of complete relaxation and deep rest.
